United Nations demands immediate end to child recruitment by LTTE and Karuna faction
ColomboPage May 12th, 2007May 12, Colombo: The United Nations has demanded immediate demobilization of all child soldiers in Sri Lanka. In letters to Sri Lanka’s LTTE as well as the Karuna faction, the United Nations Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict called for the cessation of child recruitment.
