UN adopts Sri Lanka’s proposal for development of Oceans resources
ColomboPage January 16th, 2007Jan 16, Colombo: United Nations General Assembly by its Resolution on Law of the Sea at the 61st Session approved Sri Lanka’s proposal for a UN Study for developing countries to realize the economic benefits of marine resources and ocean uses under the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.
