Sri Lanka’s public sector strike called by Marxist party trade unions postponed

Feb 01, Colombo: Sri Lanka parliamentarian K.D. Lal Kantha, the chairman of the National Trade Union Centre (NTUC), announced today that the token strike scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed, allowing the government time to grant the six demands made by public servants.
