Sri Lanka’s hydropower generation capacity drops
ColomboPage March 15th, 2007Mar 15, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s hydropower generation capacity has dropped sharply due to dry weather in catchment areas. The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) therefore has to depend increasingly on the more expensive thermal power.
