Sri Lanka’s Central Bank Lowers 2007 Growth Forecast on Rates (Bloomberg.com)
Yahoo September 14th, 2007Sept. 14 (Bloomberg) — Sri Lanka’s economy, constrained by the highest interest rates in Asia and renewed violence in the island’s civil war, will grow 7 percent this year, central bank Governor Nivard Cabraal said.
