Sri Lanka tyre maker bids to re-invent the wheel (TODAYonline)
Yahoo May 31st, 2007A Sri Lankan worker at Solideal Loadstar factory puts the finishing touches on large construction vehicle tyres, 24 April 2007, at a plant in Kotugoda some 18 Kms from Colombo. The world’s biggest solid tyre maker is trying to double its turnover and make Sri Lanka a key exporter of rubber products.
