Sri Lanka to Hold Elections in Eastern Area Seized From Rebels (Bloomberg.com)

June 28 (Bloomberg) -- Sri Lanka's government said it will hold elections in the eastern region near Batticaloa after the army took control of the area from the rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam for the first time in 14 years of fighting.
