Sri Lanka: Terminate CFA, Buddhist monks demand (TamilNet)
Yahoo January 25th, 2007Sri Lanka Buddhist Monks’ Front Thursday decided to submit a memorandum to Sri Lanka’s President Mahinda Rajapakse demanding termination of the Ceasefire Agreement (CFA) signed on 22 February 2002 by then Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe and V. Pirapaharan, leader of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) before it completes five year-term.
