Sri Lanka: SLA troopers on A9 security attacked near Kodikamam (TamilNet)
Yahoo May 28th, 2007Sri Lanka Army (SLA) soldiers carrying out security duty along A9 highway in Thenmaraadchy between Kodikamam and Chaavakachcheri came under attack from unidentified armed men between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday, sources in Jaffna said. Local residents said they saw injured troopers being taken in military ambulances. The Jaffna Military high command did not officially confirm the attack.
