Sri Lanka: SLA collects details of mobile phones in Jaffna (TamilNet)
Yahoo August 31st, 2007The Sri Lanka Army (SLA) started collecting the details of the mobile phones and their owners in Jaffna peninsula. The SLA has already collected the details of the motor vehicles in the peninsula, and at present is collecting the details of the bicycles. SLA has also started issuing military identity cards to all persons above ten years.
