Sri Lanka signs MoU with India to build 500 MW coal power plant in Trincomalee (Update)
ColomboPage December 29th, 2006Dec 29, Colombo: The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with India’s state-owned National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd. (NTPC) to set up a 500 MW coal-based thermal power plant in Trincomalee.
