Feb 13, Colombo: President Mahinda Rajapaksa this evening returned from Maldives after a successful three-day official visit there. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the existing long-standing friendly relations between the two countries and to explore further avenues for cooperation between the two countries, the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
