Sri Lanka minister says no plan to carve out Sinhala district to divide Tamil dominated areas
ColomboPage September 7th, 2007Sept 07, Colombo: Sri Lanka cabinet spokesman Minister of Information and Media Anura Priyadarshana Yapa yesterday denied the Tamil National Alliance’s (TNA) charge that the government is attempting to carve out a Sinhala district in between Northern and Eastern provinces to break the integrity of the Tamil homeland.
