Sri Lanka HR Minister leaves for Geneva to defend opposition candidate’s war crime allegations

Feb 08, Colombo: A high-level delegation led by Sri Lankan Human Rights Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe left for Geneva on Monday to hold discussions with the United Nations Human Rights Council on the alleged war crimes committed by the government troops in the last stages of the offensive against the LTTE rebels last year.
