Sri Lanka government to crack down on rice hoarders
ColomboPage January 25th, 2008Jan 25, Colombo: The Consumer Affairs Ministry of Sri Lanka yesterday vested powers in the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) to take legal action against any person hoarding rice, trying to control the price of rice or selling rice at exorbitant prices or at black market rates.
