Sri Lanka’s Journalists Safety in Serious Jeopardy – IFJ (TamilEelam News Service)
Yahoo January 30th, 2008Brussels - The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) which represents more than 600,000 journalists in more than 110 countries alarmed at the new developments on the safety of journalists in Sri Lanka is in serious jeopardy as several serious attacks and anti-media statements by government officials demonstrate a lack of respect for the value of media freedom in the country.
