Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will arrive this afternoon (4). Consequent to his visit traffic movement will be restricted in some parts of Colombo and near suburbs today (4) and tomorrow (5).

Today (4) from 4.00p.m. to 6.00p.m. roads including Katunayake Expressway, Bandaranaike Roundabout, Baseline Road, Orugodawatta, Indram Junction, Saddharma Mawatha, Pradeepa Mawatha, Sangaraja Roundabout, Panchikawatta, Maradana Junction, Darley Road, Gamini Roundabout, D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Regal Roundabout, Pasan Road to Roundabout in front of Slave Island Police from Katunayake airport to Colombo will have traffic restrictions.

Meanwhile, tomorrow (5) from 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. vehicle movement will be restricted from Pasan Road to Regal Roundabout, Bank of Ceylon Mawatha, Janadhipathi Mawatha to Galle Centre Road.

Vehicle movement will also be restricted from NSA Roundabout to Colpetty Junction on Galle Road tomorrow (4) from 11.00a.m. to 12.30p.m.

From 13.30p.m. to 14.00p.m. traffic will be restricted from Colpetty Junction to Galle Road, NSA Roundabout, Lotus Road, Ceramic Junction, Regal Roundabout, Pasan Road to Roundabout in front of Slave Island Police will be restricted.

All motorists are urged to use alternative routes during these times.
