New Zealand Prime Minister Kohn Key is to arrive in Sri Lanka today for a two day state visit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Prime Minister will be received by the Presidential Secretariat and accorded guard of honour. Bilateral discussions will be held with President Maithripala Sirisena. Key is set to meet Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe also. The visit will focus on the strengthening of political and economic ties between the two countries. Prime Minister Key is scheduled to visit the Austrian Chamber of Commerce on 25 February.

The Prime Minister will chair a meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Democrat Union and will also inaugurate the opening of the Fonterra Demonstration Farm and Training Centre located in Pannala.
