Lanka poised to surpass Millennium Development Goals - President (Daily News)
Yahoo September 26th, 2007Sri Lanka has been able to achieve exceptional socio-economic indicators way ahead of those normally expected of a country in the lower middle income range and the country is moving towards achieving or surpassing many of the Millennium Development Goals, President Mahinda Rajapaksa told the 62nd Session of the UN General Assembly on Tuesday.
