Yahoo January 13th, 2008Japanese peace envoy Yasushi Akashi arrived in Sri Lanka on Sunday to discuss the country’s moribund peace process, a day after 29 combatants were killed in the latest violence since the government withdrew from a truce with the Tamil separatists.
