Heavy clashes in Sri Lanka’s North on the Vesak eve, 50 combatants killed
ColomboPage May 19th, 2008May 19, Colombo: Battlefronts of Sri Lanka’s North remained active yesterday while the Sri Lankan Buddhists in the country were preparing for the Vesak day celebrations. According to the defense sources around 40 Tamil Tigers have been killed against the 10 of the Army soldiers in heavy clashes prevailed on the Mannar warfront.
