Govt. to appoint Select Committee to probe MIG 27 aircraft purchase
MOD October 8th, 2008Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake told Parliament yesterday that the government had decided to appoint a Select Committee of Parliament to investigate the purchase of MIG 27 aircraft for the Sri Lanka Air Force. The Premier’s statement came as a sequel to the statement of Chief Opposition Whip Joseph Michael Perera on the purchase.
