May 13, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s major gas distributor, Shell Gas, has submitted an application to the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) to increase the price of a 13.5 kg gas cylinder by Rs. 161, while the other player, Laugfs, has sought a price increase of Rs. 100 per cylinder.
