Fierce fighting leaves 13 Tigers dead in northeast Sri Lanka
ColomboPage June 24th, 2007June 24, Colombo: The Sri Lankan Army Special Forces troops confronted an LTTE rebel movement attempting to breach the forward defences west of Omantahi, killing 13 Tigers and injuring over a dozen in a fierce battle yesterday, the military said.
