Yahoo January 28th, 2008Fierce fighting has continued between soldiers and separatist Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka’s embattled north, leaving at least 13 insurgents and two soldiers dead, bringing the death toll over a weekend of fighting to 55. In the latest clashes, army troops fought with guerrillas in three villages near the front lines in northern Vavuniya district.
