Crisis talks in Sri Lanka’s major opposition end up in crisis
ColomboPage January 23rd, 2007Jan 23, Colombo: The discussion held yesterday between Ranil Wickremasinghe, the leader of Sri Lanka’s major opposition United National Party (UNP) and the former deputy leader and the chief of the dissident UNP parliamentary group Karu Jayasuriya has collapsed without a settlement in the party internal crisis, UNP internal sources said.
