Cheque transactions increased with the introduction of new clearance system
ColomboPage February 15th, 2007Feb 15, Colombo: Central Bank of Sri Lanka says that the country’s total cheque transactions for a day increased to Rs 17 billion from Rs. 12 billion with the introduction of the electronic cheque clearing system known as the Cheque Imaging and Truncation System (CITS).
