2008 Appropriation Bill reaches Sri Lanka Parliament on Wednesday
ColomboPage October 8th, 2007Oct 08, Colombo: Sri Lanka Deputy Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya says the Appropriation Bill for the 2008 budget will be presented to Parliament on Wednesday. The government is seeking parliamentary approval to raise Rs. 925 billion next year, as it has already gotten approval for Rs. 591.3 billion for its estimated total budgetary expenditure of Rs. 1.516 trillion in 2008, Finance Ministry sources said.
